During installation of SteamPLUS, an additional steam/heat exchanger is added. This specialised steam generator superheats the water to produce steam at approximately 150°C at the spray nozzle.

This large volume of steam, with a flow of up to 17,000 litres per minute, is released onto the surface at a working pressure of up to 250 bar. The high energy released when water turns into steam creates a thermal shock effect, which loosens atmospheric pollution, graffiti, chewing gum, paint layers, and more—without the use of cleaning agents and without damaging the surface. The SteamPLUS function is easily activated with a single button on the control panel.

No additives are required for disinfection and/or odour control with SteamPLUS—the high temperature does the work by eliminating bacteria and viruses. Unpleasant odours (such as urine, food waste, or faeces) are also caused by bacteria. SteamPLUS removes the source of the odour rather than simply masking it.
